The Tallo Community Code of Conduct

Welcome to the Tallo Community—a place to ask questions, share advice, connect with others, and explore your future. Whether you're just starting high school or thinking about your next step after graduation, this space is here to support you. 

 By participating in the community, you agree to follow these guidelines, which are designed to keep this platform safe, helpful, and productive for everyone. Language and content should always be appropriate for both school and professional environments—whether you're 13 or 30. 

You also agree to follow Tallo’s online terms and privacy policy, including the Acceptable Use Policy found [Tallo's Terms of Use].   

If you see anything that violates these guidelines, report it or contact support@tallo.com


1. Be Respectful 

Every community works best when people treat each other with courtesy and consideration. 

  • No bullying, harassment, or threatening behavior. 
  • Speak thoughtfully and respectfully at all times—even when offering feedback or sharing different perspectives. 
  • Personal attacks, name-calling, and hurtful jokes are not allowed. 
  • Content that encourages, promotes, or threatens harm toward property, yourself or others will be removed and may lead to immediate removal from the platform. 

2. Keep the Community Safe and Clean 

This is a space for educational and career conversations. Anything that puts our users at risk is not allowed. This is a community for professional career and educational conversations. 

  • Do not post or discuss: 
  • Sexually explicit, or suggestive content of any kind 
  • Romantic content, including using the platform to seek dates, relationships, or flirtatious interactions. 
  • Topics that encourage, promote, or depict self-harm, suicide, or harm to others. 
  • Discussions of illegal activity, drug use, or violence. 
  • Inappropriate jokes, images, emojis, videos, or messages, or other content 
  • Language and content should always be appropriate for both school and professional environments—whether you're 13 or 30.  

3. Protect Your Privacy (and Others') 

We take privacy seriously, and you should too. 

  • Don’t share your usernames for other social media apps, or your  full name, email, phone number, address, school name, city, age, or anything else that could identify you personally with anyone you do not know personally]; or, if you are under the age of 18, without your parent or guardian's permission. 
  • Don’t ask others for this kind of information. 
  • Use respectful and neutral usernames—nothing suggestive, offensive, or controversial. 
  • Each person may have one Tallo Community account. 

4. Share Value, Not Spam 

You're here to learn and grow—and help others do the same. 

  • Ask thoughtful questions and provide clear, helpful answers. 
  • React, comment, and contribute meaningfully to discussions. 
  • Give credit when using someone else’s ideas or content. Plagiarism is not allowed. 
  •  Do not post: 
  • Repeated or off topic messages. 
  • Links selling or promoting something, advertisements, or referral codes. 

5. Stay on Topic 

Keep conversations focused on topics that help others grow and learn. 

  • Keep posts relevant to education, careers, or personal growth. 
  • Avoid derailing conversations. If you want to start a new topic, create a new post.  

6. Say Something if You See Something 

We all play a role in keeping this community safe and positive. 

  • Use the “Report” button if you see any content that looks harmful, inappropriate, or out of place. 
  • Contact us at support@tallo.com with any concerns or ideas. 
  • Our moderators review all reports and take action when needed, including removing content or accounts.  

7. Moderation and Enforcement 

Tallo administrators and moderators are here to help. 

  • They may edit, move, or remove posts to keep the space organized, on-topic, and appropriate. 
  • They may step into discussions to provide support, resources, or clarification. 
  • Accounts that violate these guidelines may be suspended or permanently removed. 

8. Connect, Learn, and Enjoy 

This is your space to grow—ask questions, share experiences, and get inspired by others who are figuring out their path, just like you. The more you engage, the more you'll get out of it.
