At my school we use a series of websites to do classes online such as Peak and Apex. These are the only two that I know about, do you know these? Have you used them? Do you use something different?
I use ALEKS for geometry like once every blue moon. We use Schoology though, does that count?
Never heard of them. Like are you talking about what platform. I'm part of k12 stride
The teachers that grade my work on Peak are often a part of k-12. I have a teacher right now who is. I just wanted to know are there any other online websites that allow for classes to be taken. Apex is all on it's on and is pretty simple. My teacher's have more control and there is no need for an online teacher.
oh okay. Yeah we don't use those. That is cool though
Yea that counts, we use Khan Academy for mathematics as well. I've never heard of Schoology or ALEKS though.
My school has made its own website to make us access to online classes and that has all the features that I could ever want!
Interesting, I've met a few people outside of my county who use Schoology. It's basically a Google Classroom
Oh wow... see now if I ever need to debate about the need to expand the online resources provided I can look back on this discussion.
wow that's really cool @wandering_soul ! What are some of the features?
A special feature I can think of right now,
Reward Points: You get reward points for every live class you attend and you can use that point for unlocking the expired classes and notes. (They make it like a video game!)
I will add more once I remember.
