I am looking into a school and I would like some tips on how to get in.
The University of Miami is an extremely competitive school! This school focuses on Academics, Extracurriculars, Contribution to Community, and your Character.
Academics: While this school does not require an extremely high GPA compared to Brown, Stanford, or Harvard, they want to see more A's than anything else. The average GPA for this College's acceptance has an unweighted GPA of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale. Your SAT scores should be between 1320 and 1460. Your ACT scores should between 30 and 33. Work hard to get your grades up!!
Extracurriculars: This University wants to see that you pursued something that you are interested in, but there is not a specific activity they value over another. They want to see that you pursued your passions with excellence and intelligence. This will show them that you will be apart of the school's groups or organizations and contribute. Engage in your passions!
Contribution to Community: The University of Miami strongly believes the best students are the ones that will impact the community, do volunteer work, and engage in community-based activities. So I recommended that you volunteer or engage with your community.
Character: The University wants to see that you have a strong and insightful character. You will need to write a gripping essay that focuses on your strengths, accomplishments, or things you are proud of. This will show the admission officers that you are the perfect applicant for the College.

Wait what UM?
Any other UM I'm missing?
I thought it was the University of Miami because it shows "Florida" on her profile and because UM is almost always considered Miami? @reamads
