Hi everyone! My name is Devyn and I am a current high school senior. I live in New Jersey, but will be moving to Pennsylvania for college. I plan to pursue education, specifically elementary and special education. In my free time, I love to hang out with my friends, sing, take care of my plants, tutor, and of course, listen to music. A few of my favorite artists at the moment are Billie Eilish, Conan Gray, Girl in Red, BROCKHAMPTON, and Miley Cyrus. I have been on Tallo for a few months now and I am excited to meet you all! Hello, everybody! My name is Shea Tighe (@Shea_Tallo), and I am located in Charleston, South Carolina. I am currently the Vice President of Engagement for Tallo and have been with Tallo for 7 years. I actually helped found and build the very platform you all have joined!

I wanted to say welcome to the Tallo Community and share a bit about myself.

I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Landscape Architecture and practiced land planning and environmental design (an awesome profession for all of you who love architecture, engineering, and love being creative—ask me about it!) for a few years. I worked on some really incredible projects during my time as a landscape architect and cut my teeth working for an international resort planning firm EDSA in Fort Lauderdale. From there, I moved to Charleston and continued my career with SeamonWhiteside as an Urban Planner and Environmental Graphics Specialist (I got to design wayfinding signage and cool entry features for communities, parks, etc.). During this time, I developed a love for graphic design and photography and gained experience in both here and there.

Then that I met Tallo's CEO and Founder Casey Welch and decided to take a leap and join Tallo. I know, a big career change, right? Why would I do that? It was because I believed in the idea of Tallo and wished I had something like it when I was younger. So, I joined Tallo and have loved every minute of it.

My career goal is to make Tallo the world's largest opportunity connection platform for talent everywhere.

A fun fact about me is that I can juggle. I know, kinda lame but kinda cool?

My name is Mirabell Rowland. I live in California. I joined Tallo today literally less than one hour ago, because I really wanted to gain more knowledge about college.etc as well as possibly win scholarships. I want to be an educator, journalist and actress. My passion is music and I love singing. I recently graduated high school and due to unprecedented events during the year 2020, I am currently taking an unplanned gap year. I hope to matriculate a 4-year university, however I am not sure which one. Fun Fact: I am a twin, yes we finish each other's sentences.

Hiya, @Brighterdays! First of all, cheer up some. 😉There are a lot of great people here and you sound as though you are headed for the arts which is a pretty cool field. Maybe you could start as an actress and then teach theatre and review performances on the side or after your career? I would recommend doing internships in different positions and shadowing at possible colleges during this time. It is also a perfect opportunity to get some additional service hours in or start a project that could boost your application. Also, it is really cool to "meet" a real twin! My sister and I look alike, apparently freakishly alike, but we are not twins (2 years and 2 days apart 😏). We get asked the question, "Are you twins?", at least 4-5 times every family outing. Do you get that a lot, too?

Hello World! My name is Colin. I'm a student at Texas Virtual Academy at Hallsville—a K12/Stride school. My school taught me about Tallo three years ago, and I've been using it ever since. I'm a natural tinkerer with a passion for computers. After I graduate, I'll either pursue a degree in computer science or software engineering. A fun fact about me is that I have four industry-based certificates from Microsoft.

I'm Emily ( @Emily_Tallo ). Welcome to the Tallo community! I grew up in the Upstate of South Carolina (Spartanburg, SC), and now I live in Charleston, SC. I serve as the Manager of Education Initiatives at Tallo, which is a fancy way of saying that I work with high school students and teachers who use Tallo within their school. 

I joined team Tallo in 2018 and have loved every minute of working here. I studied Education at the University of South Carolina. After I graduated college, I moved to Charlotte, NC, to start my teaching career. I taught middle and high school science while coaching girls' soccer for five years. I never imagined a job for me that existed outside of a school, but when I moved to Charleston, SC, I found Tallo, and I love that I still get to work with students and help them connect to opportunities beyond high school. 

My fun fact is that I can memorize dates well. Once someone tells me their birthday, I never forget it. Pretty random, I know, but it comes in handy!

Hi!! Obviously my name isnt smartypants, Im actually a female Named Danyell, I live in Texas, i have been on tallo a while, as of right know I am a sophomore in high school. I really excited for the future to go to college and have a little independence for myself. I am interested in being a elementary teacher. A fun fact about me is that i am ambitious.
